My Story

Welcome To Diddly Squat Bakerie & Catering Company.                                                    Let me introduce myself.....I am Kim, I own and operate Diddly Squat. I have been baking and cooking for nearly 47 years now. I didn't cook or bake for a living till about 35 years ago. I actually had a career in Law Enforcement and as as Animal Control Officer. While working full time I would cook and bake for my co-workers, family & friends which ended up turning into a full time business. In I997 I was blessed with my first son and in 2000 I was blessed with my second son. In 2006 I bought my first ice cream & concession truck before I knew it I had 3 more .. ( my son's were very popular !! ). Then before I knew it I opened my brick & mortar store. Bakery, Cafe & Function Facility. ( Remember I'm still working full time, running concession trucks, and have a family....so what's one more business venture ). In 2016 I retired, closed up shop and moved south with the boys to be near family. Eventually ( about a year later ) I was bored !!  Family, friends and clients from back home would call and request baked and savory items and have me ship to them....so have you figured out where this is going yet ?? ... YUP... I started an online business which also brought me business and wonderful clients down here in the south. ( By the way...I'm not bored anymore ). My oldest son went into the Army where he is a class 2 warrant officer, fixed wing pilot, he is an outstanding man and I am so proud of him. He married in 2020.  My second son was on his way into the Navy as a diver but suffered a terrible back injury so he has had to deviate his lifes course. He got married in 2023 and literally they are expecting their first child any day now !! He is the kindest and most considerate soul, again I am blessed with another outstanding man and so proud of him, especially with the hurdles he's had to overcome these past 3 years.....did you get the part about i'm going to be a grammy any day now....YIPPEEE.  Wait there's more....I am an avid animal lover, I have had pets of all sorts my entire life. Presently I have 4 dogs, a mustang and chinchilla. I love poker, bingo, dominoes and playing cards.
